Mark one

Mark 1 is designed by Ricky Ma who was inspired by Japanese manga comics and had vision for robots to communicate with people and help us in daily life. With his bachelor’s degree in design and work in the design industry for over 25 years. He conducted research on robots while working and studying in design and in 2016 it took him 18 months to finish the first Mark 1. The name “Mark 1” is not only the model number it includes his last name “Ma”, The month finished “Mar”, The district it’s at “MK (short for Mong Kok)” and his favorite Bible verse is “Mark”(9:23).

To start this you need to purchase the Bundle from www.mark1robotic.com that consist of a paperback book “DIY LIFELIKE ROBOT BOOK” with 270 pages full of over 800 pictures, the full Robot 3D Data file and Membership to “Makerland” a website with a Forum to interact with other members around the world, that is updated regularly for readers to get new information and to continue learning

InMoov

Inmoov is designed by French sculptor designer Gael Langevin. InMoov is his personal project that he started in January 2012 as the first Open Source prosthetic hand. Now InMoov is the first Open Source 3D printed life-size robot built as a development platform for Universities, Laboratories, Hobbyist, and for all Builders. This concept is based on a sharing community that let’s it be reproduced for countless projects around the world.

To start this project you need to go online to “inmoov.fr” register with the community for resources in Forums and to download their free Robot 3D Data file. You can also put your location on their World Map to find InMoov builders near you.
